Suited and booted: Lincoln suit shop ties up new store

Peaky Blinders has been a big draw for the store

A new suit shop stocking fashion inspired by the Peaky Blinders has opened on Lincoln High Street.

Cavani at Coneys took over Elliots Framing just next door to their original Lincoln shop before opening on Friday, November 1.

The new shop has created three new local jobs and it has more of a focus on formal wear for weddings, dates or even for the office.

Peter Phillips, the general store manager, told The Lincolnite: “There’s a lot of doom and gloom on the High Street so it’s nice to see this as a success story.

“The original Coneys store has been very popular over the years, so much so that it was starting to get a little crowded.

“So we decided that we needed a new shop and it was the perfect opportunity when the unit came on the market.”

Coneys opened its original Lincoln store in 2011 and since then it has built up a loyal following of customers.

At the new store, a three-piece suit costs around £180 with other accessories like flat caps, ties and shoes also available.
