Young female Winterton crash victim named by police

Her family have been supported by specialist officers

A 24-year-old woman who died after her car crashed into a tree in Winterton has been named by police.

As previously reported, the woman was driving a blue Ford Fiesta on Ermine Street at around 9am on Thursday, December 5 when she left the road. No other vehicles were involved and no one else was hurt, police said.

The woman has since been named by police as Talia Roberts and the family have been supported by specialist officers.

Humberside Police said: “Talia’s family are devastated by their loss and have asked for privacy at this time to come to terms with their grief.

“We continue to seek witnesses to the collision and would ask anyone that has not already spoken to us that has information that would help our collision investigators to call 101 quoting log 108 December 5, 2019.”
