Man dies in Crowland industrial accident

A person has died

A man has died following what police have described as an industrial accident in Crowland.

An investigation was launched after the incident at a business on Carrington Drove at about 2.30pm on Friday, January 3.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed that a 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been named.

People in the area faced significant disruption on the A16 and a number of homes were reportedly left without power in what Western Power described as a ‘high voltage incident’.

Online reports that a person was electrocuted have not been confirmed by officials.

Police are working with the Health and Safety Executive to establish what happened.

Fire and ambulance services also attended.
