Missing Grimsby man has not been in touch with family

Police said it is out of character for him

A 37-year-old man from Grimsby has been missing for nearly a week and police are concerned about his welfare.

Stewart Smith was last seen on Wednesday, January 22 and has not been in touch with his family, which police said is out of character for him. They said they want to make sure he is okay.

Stewart is described as white, around six foot one inches tall and stocky, with short mousey hair and a beard.

Police released a photo of Stewart on Sunday, January 26 as part of their appeal, and apologised for the quality of the picture, but hoped it could help them find him.

Stewart, or anyone who thinks they may have seen him, should contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 281 of January 24.
