Police no longer believe woman was murdered at Skegness hotel

They have released the arrested man and passed the matter onto the coroner

Police investigating the death of a woman at a Skegness hotel no longer believe that she was murdered.

As previously reported, police arrested a man on suspicion of murder after the death of a 39-year-old woman at the Links Hotel at 5.15pm on Tuesday, January 21.

Post mortem examinations of the body meant that Lincolnshire Police decided to no longer treat the death as suspicious.

The 43-year-old man who was arrested has now been released without any further action and the investigation has been passed to the coroner.

Links Hotel put up a tribute to the woman who died and added that it was now open for business as usual.
