Vietnamese restaurant Pho coming to Lincoln

Pho is famous for the national dish of Vietnam, pho noodle soup

Healthy Vietnamese street food restaurant Pho will open in the Cornhill Quarter in Lincoln.

Pho specialises in the national dish of Vietnam, pho noodle soup, and has been running for the last 15 years with restaurants in London, Manchester, and Oxford.

The restaurant will be in the same building as the Everyman Cinema and The Botanist cocktail bar, just opposite the Corn Exchange.

It’s unclear when the restaurant will open but work on the fit-out of the cinema and cocktail bar will start early in 2020.

Stephen and Juliette Wall started Pho as a family business in 2005 after travelling to Vietnam and falling in love with the food.

Tim Bradford, managing director at Banks Long & Co, said: “Pho will bring a valuable restaurant offer to The Cornhill Quarter to complement the restaurant, shops and leisure facilities already open and secured for the city centre.

Ursula Lidbetter, Lincolnshire Co-op chief executive, added: “Pho is another great name to announce for The Cornhill Quarter, and we are pleased the healthy Vietnamese street food restaurant has chosen Lincoln as it continues to expand to locations outside of London.

The Cornhill Quarter is also home to Cosy Club, Moss Bros, Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Lakeland, 200 degrees, Neon Sheep, Doughnotts, Seasalt and Energie Fitness.
