Crash blocks A16 near Crowland

There is heavy traffic and police are telling drivers to avoid the area

A two car crash is causing major problems on the A16 Cowbit Road near Crowland late on Tuesday morning.

The collision happened at around 10.40am. Lincolnshire Police said the road was blocked and warned drivers to avoid the area.

One person is said to have been injured, but little is known about the extant of injuries at the time of writing.

Google Maps is also showing heavy traffic in the area on the A16 and nearby Barrier Bank.
