Dramatic pictures emerge as lorry is wedged under Grantham bridge

It caused disruption for around two hours

Photos from the scene show how a lorry became stuck under a railway bridge in Grantham, causing disruption in the town for around two hours on Friday afternoon.

Lincolnshire Police received a report of the broken down lorry on the Barrowby Road railway bridge at 2.10pm, which initially caused bad traffic.

The road was cleared at around 4pm.

Police confirmed that nobody suffered any injuries.

This is not the first time this has happened after a lorry crashed into the same bridge and caused the road to be partially blocked in June 2019.
