Men arrested over suspected drugs offences as police stop vehicle in Lincoln

Police have now revealed more details about the incident

A second man has been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police stopped a vehicle in Lincoln on Friday afternoon.

As previously reported, a man in his 20s was arrested and there were delays for a short time after the incident on Lindum Hill, which was reported to police at 12.55pm on February 21.

Another man has now also been arrested after police revealed more details about the incident involving suspected drugs offences. Both men have since been released under investigation.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle without a licence, and on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.

“A 24-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, and on suspicion of breaking/being likely to break bail conditions. Both men have been released under investigation.”
