Sleaford man with learning disability abused by teens

Police treating the incident as a hate crime

Two teenage boys reportedly verbally abused a Sleaford man with a learning disability near the town’s train station.

Lincolnshire Police is treating the incident from 4pm on Wednesday, February 12 as a hate crime and has appealed for more witnesses to come forward.

They believe that the two boys were around 13 to 14-years-old. One was of a stocky build with brown eyes while the other was over average build with freckles.

A passerby reported the incident to police, who are now trying to find the victim and have asked for him to get in touch with them.
