A gym owner in Lincoln is sharing online fitness tips with people to help combat coronavirus isolation blues.
Lee Kilby, owner of Energie Fitness Lincoln City is releasing a series of free videos via a Facebook group to help people in the city keep fit.
Lee says: “It’s vital to stay fit and active while gyms are closed and social isolation is in effect, so we wanted to make sure that everyone we can reach knows to keep fit.
“Exercise isn’t just vital for physical health, but mental health too.”
The Lincoln gym of the Energie Fitness chain opened in Cornhill Quarter in October 2019, but the recent coronavirus outbreak has meant the business is closed.
Despite this, Lee has offered to freeze memberships until the situation becomes clearer, as well as launching this online content.
“These videos will mean people have a variety of workouts to get stuck into at home or in the garden and not get bored!
“I hope that this offers people an outlet when they might be feeling cooped up inside. If there was a time to look on the bright side, it’s now.”
