Police and fashion & home retailer TK Maxx combined forces in Lincoln to help deliver food to vulnerable people in the city during the coronavirus crisis.
Lincoln Centre Police posted on social media that it was contacted by TK Maxx in Lincoln, which is closing temporarily and said the store had lots of food to give away.

The American department store chain had already been in touch with food banks, but still had plenty left over.
Police delivered the remaining stock to Pathways, YMCA, Cornerhouse and Nomads homeless shelter in Lincoln.

Springcliffe Surgery, a branch of the larger Brant Road Surgery, currently serves a fraction of the combined 9,000 patients – providing only 20 weekly appointments compared to the main site’s 550.
