Lincoln home taped off after man found dead

Police are investigating

A man in his 30s has been found dead at a property in Lincoln.

A police scene guard has been put in place on St Andrew’s Street near Sincil Bank  while police carry out further investigations.

The death is being treated as unexplained.

Police were called to the property at 10.59am on Thursday, April 2.

An eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous, said they saw police and an ambulance outside the taped off home and forensics were also at the scene.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “At 10.59am today (April 2) we received a report of a deceased man in his 30s at a property in St Andrew’s Street in Lincoln.

“At this time we are treating this death as unexplained.

“A police scene guard has been put in place while we carry out further investigations. We will release an update when one is available.”
