A new self-storage company moving to Lincoln

A family-run removals and logistics company has moved into Lincoln to provide storage solutions.

Ballards has announced a partnership with Boulder Developments to launch their business in Lincoln.

They will now be based at Boulder Business Park on Pioneer Way, formerly the site of the Co-op food distribution centre.

The business will allow customers to store belongings somewhere close to Lincoln city centre, with 188 containers present at the site.

As well as self-storage, secure warehouse storage and office space is available at the business park, provided by Boulder Storage.

Matthew Ballard, group managing director of Ballards, said: “We are thrilled to be in a position to offer customers in Lincoln a flexible, convenient and good value self-store facility.

“The location of the facility is perfect and this will be the first time in our 41 year history that we have had a city base as our depots historically have been rural.”

Ballards is the seventh business to set up at Boulder Business Park and the first since 2017.
