Aww how cute!

An adorable one hour old kitten was taken in by a rescue home in Lincolnshire on VE Day.

The newborn kitten weighing 57g was taken to The Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home in North Somercotes on Friday, May 8 after its mother had abandoned it.

The home initially said it wasn’t sure if the kitten found in Saltfleet would last the night, but that “eight feeds later he’s suckling well and seems very bright.”

It added: “Fingers crossed for this lucky kitten born on VE Day.”
