Only one Lincolnshire McDonald’s re-opened today

168 drive-thrus are re-opening on June 2

The Gainsborough McDonald’s is the only branch in Lincolnshire announced among the 168 locations re-opening their drive-thrus on Tuesday.

People will be able to get their Maccies fix at the outlet on Trinity Street, but other areas of the county, including in Lincoln, will unfortunately have to wait until later this week.

A further 22 restaurants are open for McDelivery from Tuesday, but none are in Lincolnshire.

Every drive-thru, including four in Lincoln – will re-open by Thursday, June 4. McDonald’s will release the locations of the re-opening restaurants on the morning of each day.

There will be a limited menu (no breakfast or milkshakes for now) and reduced hours from 11am-10pm.

The open restaurants will also look a little different including fewer employees in the kitchens to enable teams to social distance and work safely.

Contactless payment methods are encouraged, with spending capped at £25.
