Two teens arrested after Lincoln assault

The victim was treated in hospital but his injuries aren’t life threatening

Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of assault outside the Lidl supermarket on Newark Road in Lincoln.

Police were called to Newark Road at around 10.40pm on Friday, June 19 after reports of a fight that broke out.

An 18-year-old male was assaulted by two people and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two in question are a local 17-year-old and an 18-year-old from Nottingham.

Both will remain in custody as the investigation continues.

Police are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to talk to officers by calling 101, referencing incident number 368 of June 19.
