Police chopper search for home attackers in Lincoln

Searching for four men who assaulted two people

Police sent out a helicopter search over Lincoln on Wednesday night to try and find four men who assaulted two people in their home.

The attack happened at around 11:50pm on Wednesday, at a home on Russell Street in Lincoln, off Newark Road.

Four men, wearing black hoodies and face covering, allegedly entered the house of a man and woman and attacked them, before fleeing.

The victims, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s, were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A police helicopter flew over the city to try and locate the four men, but was unsuccessful in the search.

Investigations are still ongoing, with officers appealing to the public for any information, CCTV or dashcam footage.
