Firefighters tackle Lincoln home blaze

At least two fire crews on scene

Firefighters attended a call at an address on Broadway in uphill Lincoln after two domestic garages caught fire.

At around 1pm, at least two crews were at the scene and a lot of smoke is visible in the area.

There aren’t believed to be any injuries as a result of the fire.

Eye witnesses said the fire started at around 12.50pm.

The area has been blocked while fire crews handle the blaze

At 1.55pm a resident told The Lincolnite that the fire was nearly out.

Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue has tweeted about the fire, confirming that severe fire damage had been done to a garage and smoke damage to two houses.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown, but the fire has now been extinguished and no injuries were reported.
