Lincoln-based social enterprise, The EBP, is set to offer 15 young mums in Lincolnshire the chance to take part in a free vocational training course to help with the transition from motherhood to work.
‘You’ve Got This’ is supported by the Greater Lincolnshire LEP Community Grants Programme, funded by the ESFA and managed by Bishop Grosseteste University.
The programme will give young mums aged 16-25 from across the county the opportunity to hone their employability skills and get ready for work.
The free course, to be delivered flexibly around childcare needs, includes life skills and tips for mums to get into their preferred career.
‘You’ve Got This’ is also AIM accredited, meaning that all participants will receive a nationally-recognised Level 2 AIM qualification on completion of the course.
Michelle Allison, Chief Executive of The EBP, said: “We recognise just how challenging it can be for young mums who are thinking about getting back to work and ‘You’ve Got This’ offers them the chance to learn new skills in a flexible and manageable way alongside caring for their family.”
Registrations are now open for the course which starts in September and runs through to March 2021. Visit The EBP website for more information.
Places are limited and offered on a first-come-first served basis, subject to meeting eligibility requirements.
