47 cases of coronavirus in Greater Lincolnshire this week

14 new cases on Friday

There have been 47 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Greater Lincolnshire this week.

Government figures released on Friday reported 14 new cases across the region, with 12 in Lincolnshire and one each in North and North East Lincolnshire.

The breakdown of the 3,719 cumulative coronavirus cases is as follows:

  • 2,705 in Lincolnshire (up from 2,693)
  • 770 in North Lincolnshire (up from 769)
  • 244 in North East Lincolnshire (up from 243)

NHS Figures today revealed one further death in Lincolnshire’s hospitals – the first in 34 days and taking hospital deaths to 267.

But government figures, which also include deaths outside of hospitals or in facilities outside the county, do not yet reflect that, instead showing one fewer death in North Lincolnshire – revising down the death toll to 88.

Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire figures remained unchanged on the government dashboard.

The total number of deaths in Greater Lincolnshire according to government figures is now 389.

Nationally, the number of cases increased by 1,940 to 342,351, while deaths rose by 10 to 41,537.
