Lincoln City have signed attacking midfielder Remy Howarth on a one-year contract after a successful pre-season trial.
The player impressed in a number of the Imps’ pre-season games and was rewarded with a contract for the new season.
Remy began his career at Blackburn Rovers, rising through the youth setup before taking his career to the Welsh Premier League with Cefn Druids.
The Welsh club allowed Lincoln to take Howarth on trial, where he scored a goal in a friendly against Nottingham Forest U23s before signing his contract.

Lincoln manager Michael Appleton was delighted with the player’s attitude, which led to him signing.
“I watched a couple of games and then invited him in for pre-season, he came in and from day one you wouldn’t think he would be a trialist.
“He has done ever so well in training and games; he has made an impact and is already part of the squad.
“It is the first time in a long time I have seen a player who is so excited to sign for a club, he was like a kid in a candy shop.”
