Hosepipe put through cat flap damages village home

Criminal damage was caused to a property by a hosepipe placed through the cat flap of a barn door in a village near Lincoln.

Damage was caused within the property, including to doors and electricity cables at the property in Fen Lane in Burton during the afternoon of Thursday, October 1.

The offender or offenders climbed over the gate to a stable to commit the offence.

Lincolnshire Police have published images of two young men, who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The force did not specify whether the men were suspects or witnesses.

Police said: “Both of the young men pictured have dark brown hair and one is believed to be slightly taller than the other.”

Anyone who recognises either man or has information should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 363 of October 1.
