Monster Villain Safari trail coming to Lincoln

Local businesses taking part

Get ready to bring monsters to life when a ‘Monster Villain Safari’ family trail begins in Lincoln later this week.

The free activity will go live in places across the UK this month, with Lincoln BIG launching the city event on Wednesday, October 7.

The trail is around 1.5 miles long, as families look to find the creepy, but cute villains 10 Monster Villains around the city.

The Safari works by using contactless QR codes and people finding 10 vinyl window monsters using a map — without the need to go inside any venues.

When families scan each character’s unique QR code the monster will come to life in an animation on their smartphone and people will learn their names, stories and powers.

After finding all ten, families will be rewarded with a free eBook, which is a follow-up adventure written especially for the trail.

Lee Roberts, Operations Manager for Lincoln BIG said, “This Monster Villain Safari is a great way for families to return to the high street in a safe way this Autumn.

“We have worked with the businesses to create a fun trail for families to search for the characters as they visit Lincoln. This trail is the first for this year and we will have a second trail coming in the lead up to Christmas.”
