Work takes shape at new ‘canvas on campus’ bar

Somewhere safe for students to eat and drink

Work is taking shape on a new tipi tent on campus to offer somewhere safe for students to eat and drink at the University of Lincoln.

Canvas On Campus, which is located outside the LPAC building, is described as “the perfect place to eat, meet and make all those memories that will last a lifetime”.

Fresh food and a range of drinks will be served in the tipi.

There will be limited space due to social distancing and tables can be booked online here, but people must not mix with other tables or groups.

Inside the Tipi there will be hand sanitiser stations and directional signage leading people to their tables.

People will also be required to register their details for Track and Trace purposes on arrival using the QR Code.

It is understood that it will be ready to open in time for the new academic year, which starts on October 12 with a blended learning approach.
