Wilko is in a crisis at the moment. The GMB Union said it expects most of the troubled retailer’s stores to close ‘within weeks‘ after a rescue purchase deal collapsed earlier this week.

With the future of Wilko in limbo, the discount retailer is driving footfall with a widespread administration sale, causing some empty shelves to appear as stock is cleared from the Lincoln store.
