Humberside Police’s likely next Chief Constable has been revealed.

The office of the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner has announced Paul Anderson as the preferred candidate. He is the current Deputy Chief Constable.

Senior figures from a Scunthorpe secondary school have said they are “frustrated” by the inspection grade given by Ofsted.

School inspectors rated St Lawrence Academy overall as ‘requires improvement’. It was previously graded ‘good’.
