Join the hundreds of people at Rutland Water for our exciting annual ‘Bluebell Walk & Cycle Ride’ to help raise awareness and funds for Crohn’s & Colitis UK.
There is a route available for everyone, no matter your fitness level. You can choose from a short stroll to the bluebells (2 miles/3km), a leisurely walk along the lake shore (5 miles/8km), or a longer walk to the sunken church (9 miles/14km).
For the more energetic, you may wish to cycle all the way around Rutland Water (17 miles/27km) with an optional visit to the Hambleton peninsula on the way as well (25 miles/40km in total).
Bring your family & friends, bring your pet dog and bring a tasty picnic to enjoy by the lakeside afterwards. Expect a lively atmosphere with music, entertainment and information galore whilst we turn Rutland Water into a sea of purple !
