Employment in the 21st Century – A Symposium

    June 18, 2019 09:30
Lincoln Drill Hall, Free School Lane, Lincoln
    Free

The University of Lincoln and Lincoln Drill Hall invite you to an interactive one-day event to consider how we can tackle the issue of people and places that could be at risk as we enter Industry 4.0.

Many of the jobs that previously provided routes for upward social mobility are being eroded, and we need to prepare for the skills of the future.

The aim of the event will be to identify specific issues and interventions and to develop links that will help us to work together beyond the symposium.

We hope to attract a diverse range of participants to the conference from business, across the education system and those in the local policy sphere; students, teachers, businesses, researchers, those involved in discussions about education and skills from within local authorities, the LEP and those on associated Boards.

The event is free to attend and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
