Join us for a coffee morning, as we explore the book ‘Lost Words’ and Flintham Museum memory boxes whilst raising Dementia Awareness.
Gill Collins from the Alzheimer’s Society will be delivering a talk on building a Dementia friendly network in Lincoln. Curators from the Flintham museum will be discussing their ‘Baby Boomer Boxes’ developed with their recent Sandford Award bursary which has provided a series of ‘memory boxes’ about the 1960s.
Academics and students from Bishop Grosseteste University will be delivering poems from the Lost Words book and talk about the importance of words especially for those with Dementia.
Please come and enjoy the morning event and network with groups of people who are interested in the subject of Dementia. Although the event is FREE, tickets are limited so please book to reserve your space.
