    Description

    Responsible for the planning and implementation of a marketing strategy and Marketing Plan in order to continue year on year growth trends. Leading from the front, it will be your responsibility to lead, coach and develop a small team and bring best in class strategic marketing thinking to the table.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all marketing planning and execution;
    • Develop a set of core objectives and targeting methods for a new Marketing Development Strategy for the sectors and business;
    • Work with the Sales team, Account managers and Senior Management team to identify key customers to target and create communication strategies;
    • Gain a strong understanding of the business, the clients and their needs in order to translate into campaigns and events;
    • Create, deliver and monitor marketing campaigns – Short, medium and long term;
    • Managing and developing marketing collateral from copy through to distribution;
    • Management and experience in marketing communications to include social media channels;
    • Marketing Budget Management;
    • Manages a portfolio of leads and opportunities based on geographic assignment and drives activity toward fulfilling on geographic goals;
    • Work and develop potential key target customers;
    • Record and maintain data within the CRM database system;
    • Work to an agreed set of performance targets;
    • Develop sales and customer strategy alongside senior management team;
    • Market and develop the Apss brand;
    • Work closely with the in house design team;
    • Collect customer feedback and market research;
    • Keep up to date with new products and the competition within sectors;
    • Identifies and develops strategic relationships with key executives of existing and potential new customers;
    • Supports other members of the Business Development team in their skill development and shares best practices to enhance overall team outcomes;
    • Prepares sales team for meetings with appropriate research and advance materials while also preparing future prospects;
    • Prepare PQQ documentation and responses;
    • Attends regional events and conferences to obtain sales leads / networking events.

    Skills:

    • Good knowledge and understanding of the industrial and commercial interior fit out business and construction business;
    • The ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions;
    • The ability to be self-motivated and proven track record in leading and developing teams and individuals;
    • Have good technical understanding of online marketing;
    • Excellent communication and people skills (telephone and face to face);
    • Be an effective project leader who achieves results;
    • Results oriented and excellent analytical, strategic, business planning, communication, and teamwork/collaboration skills;
    • Good planning and organisational skills;
    • The ability to work calmly under pressure;
    • Excellent time management;
    • Excellent IT, presentation skills and report writing skills;
    • Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy;
    • Proven strong marketing and business management background;
    • Full driving licence and the ability to travel to customer sites across the UK.

    Required qualifications:

    • Qualified member of CIM or equivalent, Degree in Marketing or equivalent
