The Branch covers members that are based in the Health sector across Lincolnshire including, United Lincolnshire Hospitals, Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Lincolnshire Community Health Services. We cover staff in the public, private and voluntary sectors including out in the community, GP surgeries and private care providers. We currently have around 5,000 members in the Lincolnshire area and are the biggest Health Union in Lincolnshire.

Nearly half a million UNISON members work in health care in the NHS and for organisations providing NHS services in all four countries of the UK.

We recognise and defend the rights of all workers in the health service. By working together within UNISON, health care workers are better able to fight for change.

UNISON is one of the UK’s largest trade unions, serving more than 1.3 million members. We represent full-time and part-time staff who provide public services, although they may be employed in both the public and private sectors.
