£6,071.81 per annum actual salary (working 16 hours per week for 38 weeks per academic year) your actual salary in the first year will be less if you start part way through the academic year. You will be paid extra weeks to reflect holiday entitlement of 5 weeks plus 1.6 weeks’ bank holiday entitlement. This salary is divided into equal monthly payments and paid over the whole year until the end of August. (£16,827 per annum is the full time equivalent salary which would be for working 37 hours per week for 52.143 weeks per year)

The role is to support both Further Education and Higher Education students and staff in the Learning Resource Centre. You will actively assist with supporting students in the access and use of learning resources either through a one-to-one or group basis. This will also include duties on the LRC issue desk and day-to-day administration as necessary.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Learning Resource Assistant with a “can do” attitude to join our evolving Learning Resource Centre team. Experienced in working within a customer focused role you will be able to work in a busy working environment with a student-focussed approach. You must possess excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a calm, helpful, friendly yet authoritative manner
