    Lincoln Minster School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 2 to 18. The school is set over three sites in the heart of Lincoln’s historic Cathedral quarter.

    We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to lead the Preparatory School’s provision for students with special educational needs.

    You will lead a highly committed and experienced Teaching Assistants to establish and implement a range of support and interventions, ensuring outstanding SEND provision and high levels of progress for pupils with additional needs.

    You will have specialist knowledge and experience of the wide range of specific learning difficulties, along with a passion for inclusion. Experience of managing SEND provision in an education setting is essential, and you should be confident with using data to evaluate the impact of support and interventions. Ideally, you will hold a specialist SENCo qualification.

    The ability to teach Maths as a specialist subject up to Year 6 will also be an advantage.

    Lincoln Minster School values its excellent pastoral support and there will be an expectation for you to support teaching staff with pupil progress, as well as contribute to duties and co-curricular activities.
