    Trustees will have a choice of involvement, in order for us to have a balanced Board.

    All Trustees are expected to attend quarterly Trustees’ meetings, to make the most of their expertise in and lived experience of the challenges we work to overcome.

    Desirable expertise and/or lived experience includes, but is not limited to:

    • Charity
    • Housing support
    • Homelessness
    • Youth work
    • Childcare
    • Providing support for older people

    As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to meet new people, and be part of a diverse team. You can help us make a positive difference to the lives of people from all backgrounds across Lincolnshire.

    Who are we looking for?

    • Our Trustees need to be passionate about our work with the Lincolnshire youth, older people and those experiencing homelessness.
    • They must be prepared to use their relevant expertise and experience to inform and benefit our work.
    • They must enjoy working with a range of people, from fellow Trustees to members of the YMCA Lincolnshire team and those we work with.
    • Trustees must be friendly, approachable, reliable, patient and accepting of others who might be different from themselves.
    • Trustees must be prepared to attend quarterly Board meetings at The Showroom, Lincoln.
    • We aim to recruit and retain great people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

    About Us

    We work across Lincolnshire to help those experiencing homelessness, young and older people to fulfil their potential in mind, body and spirit.

    We have several supported accommodation settings across Lincoln, and deliver Youth work at The Showroom Activity Centre and across the county.

    We have three childcare settings across Lincolnshire, as well as an Ageing Better programme combatting social isolation among East Lindsey’s ageing population.
