Lincoln Cathedral has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual to join the Works Department as Works Office Coordinator. This is a permanent position, full time (38.75 hours per week) with an annual salary of £18,500-£20,500 dependent on experience.
The Cathedral Works Department plays a lead role in delivering the maintenance, restoration and conservation of Lincoln Cathedral, and its associated properties in the Close. The Works Office Coordinator will be a part of a small team of administrators which provides day to day assistance to ensure the smooth running of the department.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade A* – C (or equivalent) including Maths and English with a least one year’s experience of working in an office environment. Applicants will have the ability to draft reports and letters to a high standard along with excellent IT skills with competency in Microsoft office, use of the internet and email. Applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
