A shop assistant has suffered facial injuries after an armed robbery in Louth.

The robbery happened at just after 10pm on Wednesday, April 19, at the Costcutter store.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “The offender removed the till drawer. Helicopter support was used to assist in the search and a knife was recovered at the scene.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident number 469 of April 19.
