Firefighters had to release a man and a woman trapped in a toilet block in Lincoln at the weekend.

The incident happened at 1am on Saturday, August 17, at a wedding venue off Skellingthorpe Road.

A man and a woman became trapped in a toilet block at the premises, as the lock on the door was stuck on both sides.

The Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crew from Saxilby attended the incident. They released the two people using Homaltro spreaders.

Both the man and the woman were unhurt following the incident.

Police are searching for a boy on a bike who was apparently injured when a resident reversed his car out a driveway on Wolsey Way in Lincoln.

The incident was reported to Lincolnshire Police on the morning of Friday, July 4.

The child appeared to have a slight injury to his hand, but did not stop to give his details or any other information about himself.

He is described as being white, around six or seven-years-old, of thin build, with fair short hair, wearing a green jacket and brown trousers.

The boy said he was going to school but did not appear to be wearing school uniform.

Officers would like to find out the identity of the young boy to talk to him about the incident.
