Car takes out bus stop and wall before ploughing into Lincoln home

Police are investigating after a car left a trail of damages through a Lincoln street, smashing into a bus stop, a garden wall, a family car and the side of a home.

The crash happened at around 6.20am on Wednesday, April 5 on Wolsey Way and involved a white Vauxhall Astra.

The car ploughed into the bus stop outside a bungalow on the street before crashing into a large wall and a black BMW parked on the driveway.

Severe damage was also caused to the property as the shock of the crash and ruble smashed windows and doors.

Police said no one was injured in the crash. The driver of the Astra was taken to hospital however to be checked over.

Officers are investigating the incident. There have been no arrests.
