Abba fever to hit Lincoln’s LPAC

Mamma Mia! The LPAC will be hosting Abba tribute act, Waterloo, for one night only.

Lincoln’s Performing Arts Centre (LPAC) will come alive on October 23 with the sound of tribute Abba band, Waterloo.

Waterloo have toured all over Europe pretending to be the 400 million records selling fourpiece, and are now visiting Lincoln as part of a UK tour.

The band is made up of six people — Lauren Fox, Rachel Grundy, Ben Peachey and David Ribi, with Lorna Sullivan and Jamie Lee Pike as backing singers.

The group will perform all the classic tunes, such as Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Voulez Vous and of course, Waterloo.

Also, to keep everything looking as authentic as possible, the band will undergo 30 costume changes, as well as having a fully choreographed show.

The band is managed by award-winning production company Mad About Productions, who also created the show Mad About The Musicals.

Show starts at 7.30pm (doors open at 6.30pm). Tickets for the show start at £14, and are available from the LPAC Box Office.
