Woman robbed of purse on High Street

Pushed to the ground: A woman was robbed of her purse on the High Street by a man with purple spots on his nose.

Police are appealing for more information after a 40-year-old woman was robbed on Lincoln’s High Street on Thursday, October 18.

This incident took place at around 9.30pm, at the junction with Altham Terrace, when the woman was approached by the offender.

She was pushed to the ground, and the man, described as white, in his mid 30s, and of a large build, stole her purse.

Police say the offender’s nose had purple spots on it, he had short scruffy hair, and he was wearing a white long-sleeved top.
