Lincoln professor stars in dog documentary

Man’s best friend: A university professor shall be featured in a new Channel 5 series.

An animal behaviour specialist from the University of Lincoln will be featured in a TV series looking at how special dogs are.

Daniel Mills is the country’s first recognised specialist in Veterinary Behavioural Medicine, and will appear in Channel Five’s new series Extraordinary Dogs.

The TV series is 13 episodes long, each lasting half an hour. It features experts, trainers, vets and owners discussing how incredible canines are, and the science behind their capabilities.

The show explores dogs’ physical abilities, such as stamina and movement, learning abilities and good senses like smell and hearing.
