Man, 19, in hospital after Riseholme crash

Car crash: A young man in is serious but stable condition in hospital after a crash on the A15 roundabout at Riseholme.

A 19-year-old local man is in a “serious, but stable condition” in hospital, after he was involved in a car crash at the Riseholme roundabout last night.

Police were called to the A15, just past the Riseholme roundabout heading out of the city, just after midnight on February 9 after reports of a single-vehicle collision.

Officers at the scene found a red Vauxhall Corsa left the road and hit a tree.

The 19-year-old driver was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with serious injuries. He was then transferred to Sheffield Hallam Hospital for further treatment.

Lincolnshire Police say he is in “a serious, but stable condition.”
