Street robbery arrests made on St Rumbold’s

Attacked: Arrests were made after a man was assaulted along the street.

Two men have been arrested by police on suspicion of a street robbery in Lincoln.

The incident took place on Saturday, July 9 at around 9.40pm on St Rumbold’s Street.

A 25-year-old man was attacked by a group of people who left him with a suspected broken nose and had stolen £5.

Officers attended the scene, searched the area and arrested two local men, a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old, a short time later.

The men were questioned and released on police bail until August 11.
