Street robbery: Police CCTV appeal to find suspect involved in street robbery of an 80-year-old local woman.

Police are searching for a man believed to be involved the robbery of an 80-year-old woman in Lincoln.

The street robbery took place near the Baptist Church on Croft Street at around midday on December 14.

An 80-year-old local woman was approached from behind by the man pictured in the CCTV footage, who grabbed her handbag from her arm. The woman was pushed to the ground.

The suspect left with a bag containing a black and silver Nokia mobile phone and a brown purse with £20 cash and bank cards in it.

The woman was treated for a minor head injury at Lincoln County Hospital. Police are keen to trace the man pictured in these images in relation to the incident.

He is believed to be white and have short dark hair. He was wearing a green jacket with a white t-shirt underneath, along with blue jeans and black trainers.
