Burglars take jewellery worth £25k through roof

Jewellery burglary: Jewellery worth around £25,000 was stolen from a shop inside Morrisons, off Tritton Road.

Jewellery worth around £25,000 was stolen in a commercial burglary in Lincoln.

The burglary took place at a jewellers in a shop unit inside Morrisons, off Tritton Road, overnight on January 8/9.

The offenders got into the premises through the roof and stole jewellery worth around £25,000.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, probably after 11pm, to get in touch with them as soon as possible.

Anyone with any information should contact DC Cath Leeman at Lincoln CID via the non emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 105 of January 9.
