Outdoor shop Blacks revamps Lincoln store

Great outdoors: A High Street retailer is offering residents more choice for outdoor brands after a revamp.

An outdoor clothing retailer in Lincoln will be opening its new-look shop later in the month, with a wider range of products.

The new Blacks store on Lincoln High Street will offer more outdoor brands such as The North Face, Berghaus, Marmot, Petzl, Leki, Jet Boil and Mammut, and exclusive lines.

Blacks in Lincoln has always had a large fan base of residents, from dog walkers and hikers to those doing the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Armed Forces.

The national brand is slowly rolling out its new look to stores, but Lincoln is the second shop to recieve the refurbishment.

The design hope to bring an “outdoor atmosphere, indoors”.

Store Manager Malcolm Winn said: “It has so much more to offer our customers, for those who like everything from climbing to dog walking or just those who enjoy being in the outdoors, it will be a fantastic place to shop in Lincoln.”

In addition to the rebrand, Blacks recently partnered with the National Trust to highlight sites to customers, in addition to selling them the right kit for their outdoor experience.

The new-look store is set to reopen from September 17.
