Organiser of the Pregnancy and Baby Expo Sara Bayes, said: “Having a baby can be a daunting experience and people often don’t know where to turn for help.

“Hopefully this free expo will help provide information and advice in a friendly and informal setting.

“This event is the first of its kind in Lincoln and is perfect for those who have just found out they are pregnant, are about to give birth or who have recently had children.

“We have over 14 organisations attending the event, who will be able to provide information about breastfeeding, mum’s fitness, birth choices, having a doula, emotional wellbeing and complementary therapies.”

Chantelle Henderson, marketing coordinator at the Waterside, said: “I am delighted to welcome the Lincolnshire Birthing Network to the Centre on Saturday.

“The network offers a free and valuable resource to the local community, so we are looking forward to supporting them in the Centre.”
