Remembrance Day: The Royal British Legion and the City of Lincoln Council held a service at the War Memorial on Lincoln High Street.

The Royal British Legion and the City of Lincoln Council held a service at the War Memorial on Lincoln High Street to mark Remembrance Day.

The civic procession will left the Guildhall in a procession to the war memorial, where a service took place before two minutes silence at 11am.

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Karen Lee, laid wreaths at the memorial along with the President of Royal British Legion and representatives from other regimental associations.

A Remembrance Sunday service will be held at Lincoln Cathedral on November 11.
