Lincoln Security employee gains specialist skills

Next stage: An employee of a Lincoln security company has gained a pass in a prestigious ironmongery course.

A security company in Lincoln is celebrating the success of one of its employees gaining new specialist qualifications.

Lincoln Security’s Bench Locksmith & Retail Sales Advisor Harry Mathieson got a pass on the level one Guild of Architectural Ironmongery (GAI) course.

The three-year GAI diploma is the only recognised qualification in the UK that leads to a qualification in ironmongery specification (Reg AI).

Now he has a level one pass, Harry understands a variety of products, including their properties and standards, and he will also be able to help customers when the visit the company’s shop.

Jason Healy, Sales Director at Lincoln Security, also has the diploma, and was presented with the Guild’s bronze medal in his final year of studies.

He said: “We are very proud of Harry for his accomplishment and wish him and the other members of the team studying for the diploma every success during the next phase of the course.”
